If it's not a trade secret, mind me asking what you are using for your titles and effects? I have been playing with editing and related stuff for a while. Mostly DVD menus and the such. My main tools being various Adobe video and still photo products along with Vegas Video. Trying my hand at Avid, but my machine has problems with it, mostly used for digitizing from tape.

I don't think I'd try to really use Avid with a PC....it's just too much of a program for the computer in my mind. Vegas is a program that I use, and it works very well on most computers. For DVD menus' and such, check out www.digitaljuice.com They're a high end video and audio company. Their forums are FULL of companies and such for video and print production. If you sign up for an account they open a free download section with limited downloads, as well as DJTV. DJTV is training video's they put out for video production. A great learning tool.

I use Pinnicale. It's a very basic program, I've just learned to make the most of it. I have have Duel core computer deticated for just my video stuff, luckly it was a freebee. Now if I could just pick up something like avid for free then I could probally do I lot more.
