I was wondering what can be done with that tube that goes from the oil filler neck, to the air intake tube.

Can I just attach a breather filter on the thend of the tube and plug te hole on the intake tube so that it doesnt deposit sludge into my intake track.

I don't know what the regs are in Canada, but in the US you can't legally disconnect because it is part of the PCV system which is part of the emission control system.

Practically, you may be able to do this because prior to 1968 (fuzzy on exact yr, but late 60's or early 70's) they used to vent the crankcase thru a breather which allows the vapors to escape to the atmosphere. You may run into other problems though, since the fuel system was designed assuming that the PCV system is intact and working.

It would probably be best for the environment to keep it as is, and just clean the throttle body every so often (20Kmiles or so)
