tunning 5.0 super charged

I already have a good safe solid tune done by myself my truck runs great. Just wondering from others how far can we push timing I have drastically cut it back to control detonation. Mostly stock 5.0 pushing 10 lbs of boost. Not worried about blowing the motor I have another engine and I will build it better if that happens. Just wondering what others are running for timing tables. Im about 10 deg at WOT with no detonation. Or any other suggestions on detonation control that would be helpful also. Glad to see others out there with turbos and superchargers been reading through all your previous posts some really nice trucks out there.

Answer is...there is no solid answer.
With no intercooler, you do need to pull lots of timing under higher boost levels as the compressed air is really hot.

Yeah I was just wondering what others were getting if everyone else is getting 15 deg and I only get 10 deg then I should look harder but if everyone says 10 then its probably limited to head design and mech limitations

I think you are probably going to be around 10 with the intake air heat.
I know on my 4.0 explorer with no intercooler just about all the timing was pulled at high iat's.
