He wants to be able to whistle at pretty girls without using his mouth. Thus avoiding being caught by Mrs. SVO.

That's ok, Reaper scares them all away. :D

Thanx guys, just trying to chip away here and there when I get a chance.

Remember this is mearly a mock-up stage so hopefully it will all be nice clean a pretty when it's finished.

I got the engine mount brackets yesterday in the mail, with a motor mount in good condition as a bounus, so now I only need one more mount to make this a go for sure.

Oooooook!

Got both of the motor mount brackets, and have both motor mounts, so I'm pretty much there, but I have a Navajo coming in monday for a motor swap, so I'll have to pull my drivetrain out and put the motor back on the stand and the trans back on the bench so I can move my Navajo outside.

So once the other Navajo motor swap is done then I can drag mine back in and start putting mine back together again.

So the grocery list continues:

motor mount brakets
motor mounts
trans mount that lowers transmission
scrounge up some t-case bolts to mount t-case
TV cable
shift cable

and that should pretty much have me to the point of being able to start building the wiring harness, not that the motor and tranny will be sitting in the correct position.

You dont have to put your Junk on hold to fix my junk.. I am not in need of the Navajo Back till mid to late Feb. so no rush.. He he...

OK! FINE THEN BE THAT WAY!!!!!!! :p:

I'll go ahead and get my set-up done, and start the wiring harness'

A couple of Q's though, do you have another flywheel or do I need to have this one resurfaced, while I'm in class??

And I guess your gonna get the gaskets we need while your here in town?

Just trying to make sure I manage my time wisely, I have my project (that everyone is wanting me to finish here on the board) and I talked with JT and sometime in the future here he's gonna bring me his for an engine swap plus whatever else he can think of.

The funny thing is mine has been in the garage for several months now, with all sorts of wierd noises come from my house, and the nieghbours seeing me go across the street using the vacant house for a paint booth, and now monday your Navajo is gonna be in the same old spot my rig was in, I bet they'll think I re-painted my truck, LMFAO!!!!!!

But sure I'll keep on with keeping on with my project then.

They will get confused I am sure since my Navajo looks a weee bite different since you seen it last.

Im Gonna leave the flywheel up to a judgment call. Last time I did the clutch I resurfaced it and it was getting heat/stress cracks on the surface I am not sure if it is going to be worth it to resurface it again. I will be buying gaskets for it ASAP and mailing them to you if not deliver them. But that will be after my paycheck on the 2nd. I spent close to $800 at auto zone this past week trying to get it road worthy. Tonight I am putting the Gas tank back in and alignment in the Morning then on to your house a little after that...

Sorry I have school tomorrow, would be nice to sit around and hang out with you and Justin :(

You need to play hookie... Or get a field trip going to your house.

Jeff did you find your parts I left you in my Navajo?

That Black Navajo is not for Parts.. :p:

Weren't you going to paint the engine?

Anyways... from start to now.. this is looking to be pretty badass, can't wait until it's done.

He's just in the mock up stage right now, figuring out how to make everything fit, when he knows it's all going to go in ok then he will take it all back out to clean everything up before the final install.

Exactly, if I get some time tomorrow, I'll pull the motor and put in the new motor mount brackets/motor mounts from a Ranger, and the trans mount that Kris brought me, and that should have it sitting in the right place, and hopefully the power steering bracket will go right in also.

This way I can disban the idea I'm going to have to make my own motor mount brackets.

If all this goes well then I can start on laying out the wiring harness, once that's done then out comes the motor and tranny again, and then I'll go through the motor, do some porting/polishing, and paint it, have some other parts sent out to have powder coated and reassemble and put the motor in for the final time.

Make some must needed adjustments on the front suspension, the wheel tubbs, and finalize the electronics.

I'm also now in debation if I should use an NPR or Volvo front mount intercooler.
