Hi guys,

My turn signal switch seems to turn itself off from time to time. If I'm turning, I sometimes have to hold it down (or up) in position so that it will actually stay signaling. If I turn the wheel one way or another just enough, it may finally click and lock in.

Does it need to be replaced, or is there something else that I should look at?

Thanks. :)

I'd say that unless the whole switch seems to be loose that it's probably just worn out. Your steering wheel is "centered" when the wheels are pointed straight ahead, right?

I was having a problem with my drivers side taillight blinker not working, and it turned out to be a loose wire in the steering wheel column. Do a search for it, that's how i found out. I don't remember what color wire it was, but its right on top. Tilting the steering wheel caused it to work loose.

If Your turn signal does not stay on it is because your steering wheel is already turned.

So make sure you turn your wheel after turning it on.

I had the same problem
