Turning off logo on Nav unit?

I just picked up a nav unit for my rig. Unfortunately, it has the Mercury logo on start up. Is there a way to turn it off? Everything works with the truck. I just hate to spend $100+ on Ebay and ship it to have it reprogrammed to Ford logo instead.

Is there anyone else do reprogramming cheaper? Thanks

No way that I know of without having someone re-program it. When I turn the power off on my Nav radio it displays the Ford logo. You would think having the radio off it would also turn off the display. As far as programming cost, I have also seen about 100.00 to have it programmed to work with all your features you have on your EX.

Once the radio is off, push and hold down the power button and the screen will go blank. This needs to be done each time.
