Use alignment studs on Aviator transmission install?

Hopefully I'll be reinstalling the tranny in my Aviator in a couple days. It's always nice to put a couple studs in the engine block to guide the tranny into place. But it seems like the clearance might be really tight on this one. Maybe not enough clearance to do it. Anyone tried this with an Aviator or Explorer?
 






There were alignment pegs on either side of the bellhousing when I did mine, so I would expect the same on the Aviator?

Yes, but the studs make it a lot easier.
