so im going to invest in some new heads for my sport, but dont have time to install them. how much would it cost to have it done at a shop if i bring in the heads and gasket kit? or how long would it take? i know of a shop that charges 85 an hour for 4x4's but not sure if that matters for engine stuff so probably cheaper. also, anyone have a good source for the later non-crack prone heads?

So do you want a top end rebuild and new heads, or just new heads? Most heads you can buy are the better ones, which are the 93tm casting.

top end rebuild and new heads but im going to buy the gaskets, heads and fuel pressure regulator before i bring it in. basically just wondering how long it would take and how much it cost to have the heads assembled and what else it would take to complete this job. 93tm would be good. you know of a good source to get those? ive seen ebay ones but i dont trust half the crap that comes from there.

I don't know the best prices on heads, but someone on here will. Buy a complete head, no assembly required. The top end rebuild is up to you, but a "proper" build involves boring the block to the pistons you bring them.
