jt u got sound clip of ur exhausts and what kind of exhaust u got on urs

Not yet I will try to make one today or tomorrow. I'm in college so you attract attention with loud noises.

Zero,

the 3rd clip is my favorite... your X sounds supercharged lol

I forgot to take a vid tonight. Too many interesting people out partying. I kind of got distracted.

Fedy,

have you decided what kind of set up you want ?

Anyone running an x-pipe/h-pipe/true dual setup?

*Edit - Found JarvisB's thread. Still keen to hear peoples thoughts on ditching the y-pipe.

I personaly don't like the way true duals sound. I prefer h-pipes first, x-pipes second and then true duals. If you are wondering about the power difference between them, it'll be pretty close one way or another.

Tyler and I didnt' get a chance to meet up yesterday so if I get time, I'm going to make another vid myself sooner or later:D

think im gonna go flowmaster 50 with 3 inch pipe before and after muffler

i got mine done for 200 and i brought the cats in and got 60 for them so actually all i paid was 140 for my exhaust and it sounds pretty sweet i will get pics on here one of these days but mine has a v6 and somewhat sounds like a v8

a 3'' system should provide great performance gains for your V8...

I wish i could have got a V8 :(

You could have, but you passed!!!

Since Zero posted vids of his exhaust, it's only fair I do the same:D

Interior/quick run-

Idle/rev-(I want to make a new one, not enough revving;))

I still forgot to make a vid of my exhaust.

hey jtbuck92, have u got any pics of ur exhaust setup from underneath? especially the rear section over the diff?

cheers mate

ive got a vid of my X with true duals and some pics of it going over the rear-end, if you want to hear what it sounds like. i had some 4 1/2 " tips on the back in the video but changed them out to 3" rolled tips because the look better....the pipes are 2.5" all the way until it goes over the IRS and then it drops down to 2.25"

got a quote from audio planet and not very happy with what they told me they said they can only do magnaflow and the kit is 599 not including labor!!! Forget that.. Im not paying anything close to that. if I get a fm50 and 2.5 or 3inch pipe does any of it have to be bent is there pre-bent tubes i can buy from somewhere close by. Or can I just have pipe muffler and a straight piece of pipe coming out the back? Midas told me about 450 not happy with there customer service though so wont go back there. My next store neighbor is a mechanic and a welder so wondering if he can do it with just straight pipe. The kits online like magnaflow show bent pipes that are not straight at all.

I have true duals. the only complaint I have is the shop did NOT ask me if I wanted 2.25 or 2.50" tails. They put the 2.25" on! I have all 4 cats, they are Magnaflow's. I also have 2 mid length glasspacks, that go to the corners. I also have TMH's and would really love to hear and feel the difference with the larger diameter pipe. But, I am married and after engine swap and the TMH's I am done for a while with upgrades!!LOL I thought about the FM 50 Delta, but was told by my muffler guy that it would sound better with a Magnaflow cause they have a built in X pipe in the one he would install. With the muffler and labor it was at $160. If i wanted the larger tails, it went to $225. Not bad! So, thats basically a catback system for the $$. One more thing.. since installing the Magnaflow cats at all 4 positions, my exhaust note has increased in db's and growl. I wish I could post a sound clip, but I am technically incapable of doing so. Its sounds tough from the outside.

I think I had a shop do mine for around $260. Included labor, 2.5" exhaust from the Y, through a FM 70 and out the back in the stock location(actually raised it closer to the bumper;))
