1991 Ford Explorer 4X4 Eddie Bauer 4.0L...
Help...I just changed the valve cover gasket due to an oil leak and to do so I had to remove the intake mainfold. There were several vaccum lines connected to the manifold which I marked and disconnect. Well, the markings rubbed off and I'm stuck trying to figure out which hose connects where. I figured out where three of them go, but there are three others that I am not sure of. Is there anyway to determine the correct connection or should I just do trial and error? Will connecting them to the wrong input damage anything, or just make the vehicle run poorly? Thanks for any advice!
