vacuum leak between upper and lower intake manifolds

2001 ford escape 3.0
disassembled upper intake due to coil pack replacement-upon reassemble vacuum leak at passenger end of intake....disassembled again and replaced upper gaskets, after reassemble still leaking/rough idle.

They put the 3.0 on the escape cool! I thought they were all 4 cyl

If the engine has a plastic upper intake you should inspect it really well they have been known to crack and or warp
You can place it on a glass table to check the truness of the mounting surfaces
