$ value of AWD?

How much is AWD worth on a '96
anyone know of websites that actually itemize the price for each option on a used truck.

The price diff at KBB.com is $1200 for trade in and $1325 for retail value. (same options and mileage 1 2WD -1 AWD)

you can check nada.com for the x w/ awd and w/o. i don't believe there it is considered an option per se, you will need to select the 'vehicle' w/ 2wd & run the price and then rerun an awd version. subtract the diff., and there's your answer.

BUT....the answer you get is nearly useless. 2wd v. AWD makes all the difference in certain regions of the U.S. Although NADA may(???) take this into account (correct me if i am wrong)...its not that accurate. you may get 2-3k more in some places, maybe 1500 others (i am guessing).

for example...just try selling a 2wd up here in new england!
