Hello to everyone out there today. I have pretty much the opposite request most folks use this forum to help them with. I am looking to set off some codes to verify I am able to read the data being produced. I want to do this without causing harm to the vehicle as well. For Example; pull the electrical connector from the Master cylinder and a B1048 DTC is produced. I have a specific list of codes I am trying to produce a DTC for any of the P0300 series, P0456, P045, P0442, B1182,
I have tried just disconnecting the electrical connector from a coil over plug but that does not actually produce a code . The car does not run well but it also is able to see that the electrical connection is not being made.
