Vehicle Hot Spot

You would think with todays technology of all inclusive and unlimited data plans Ford would have the option to allow vehicle hotspot to be used for updates. At least have the option to select allow updates via cellular and or wifi. Plus an auto update feature would be nice also to toggle. Not everyone lives in a house where wifi is available. Those that live in condos are limited to wifi availability. Anyone else feel this way?

Also any new progress with forscan and the 2020-2022 explorer?

Would love the ability to keep daylight on with turn signal if possible.

No when the turn signal is activated, the white daytime running lights turn off so you ly see the turn signal that's activated the the opposite side of the car is the daytime running light.

I completely agree with you, in the Wireless Connectivity Setup you should have the option to pick:


1. WiFi Connection
2. Bluetooth connected cellular Phone data
3. Vehicle HotSpot

You pick WiFi and it send you to the "Scan for Available Networks" page and you set it up.

You pick Cellular phone it sends you to setup page where you give permission to use cellular data plan and you can set data limits or check unlimited data.

You pick Vehicle HotSpot you can set it up with data limits or check unlimited data.

The headlight thing might not be Ford it might be FMVSS regulation.
