Vent Issue - Not blend door but other?

I've searched and I can't find any information on how to fix my vents. I have a 2010 Eddie Bauer. I changed from A/C to defrost last spring and there was a loud slamming in the vent area. After that, all I get is air out of the dash vents no matter what we put the selector on. Sometime, we can get it to go to the defroster, but mostly it just comes out the vents. I don't get air on the floor. I get hot or cold so it's not a blend door.

Anyone have ideas on how to fix this? I know it's similiar to the blend door, but I can't find anything on fixing the issue.

Also, anyone know where to get the lights for the speedometer other than the dealship? I need to replace one.
