vibration when accelerating

i have a 01 mountioneer 5.0awd and have a vibration when accelerating hard.i just took a quick look under it and the only thing i found was a little play in the slip joint in the rear drive shaft.i didnt get to check everything but was wondering if anyone had any ideas...thanks and merry christmas

You are starting in the right direction. Check both drivelines and all u-joints. Go to the front axle shafts next.
