Camp Spike

hey guys, fishfood (aka spike) here.

Right now it looks like camp will be available. i thought you guys were talking about weekend after thanksgiving but the 16-18 is fine as well. i hope to be able to ride with you this time.


i have hot showers now although completely outdoors and should (unless something else comes up) have real electricity (vs the tangled mat of extensions cords). i should have indoor sinks and toilets by then as well.

i have rough cut (bulldozed) a teardrop trail in rear the meadow property and have driven the ranger on it. My neighbor has cleared even more trails along the river which may start getting sloppy by then. i have a road from house to lower river road but it may be too much and may just have to stay a walking/ATV trail.

Great to hear from you buddy.wow sounds like you been busy out there.i don't know how your place can get any better but man it sure doesi cant wait to go!!
do you mind if me,Will and xeek come up Friday?like to just get set up and maybe hit some of your trails Friday and help clear or whatever them for you?you want us to bring anything,anything at all?i know you don't ever ask for anything but now you have water and electric maybe we should all throw you a little bit of money even if its like $5-10 just to any water or electric we use

I'm so excited! Spike is coming by my house this afternoon, we will discuss some stuff regarding the trip...

Lol last time Stacey made it himself but need I remind everyone, my parents own Virginia Barbecue Company.......I can surely do a dinner one night for everyone as long as we get a semi accurate count of people...
it may make a great Friday dinner for everyone so people can just heat it and eat whenever they arrive or get hungry.....
any objections?lol

itd be cool to do it sunday just cause we're about to leave, everyone thats coming is there to, like a farewall had fun dinner. but it would have to sit from friday until then i assume so that wouldnt be good. friday works better in that case.

I can bring pork frozen Va or nc style Or beef... We have chicken Bbq for the picky eaters lol xeek

Go ahead and plan to bring the BBQ this time...... i will not have the time to make mine before the event. i can pitch in with some $ to help out with cost. I have a big freezer but only a dormer size fridge. I doubt that i will have much of the kitchen done by then.

to answer an earlier question..... sure it will be fine if you guys want to come up friday. i will plan on being there from thursday on.

Good deal! Don't worry about the $, welcoming us to your cabin is more than payment enough.
once.we get close ill get a complete head count and ill.bring whatever we need.
I'm off in a couple hours to camp tonight at Crabtree falls campground and drive shoe creek.

shoe creek was great! A few places have gotten rough but was def doable...I scuffed a running board that's all....

DominicanX is getting his coilovers serviced and replacing his steering joints with Heims, and probably 50 other little things

I'm lifting my truck 2.5" and installing a set of clearance lights on the cab, as well as installing some signal mirrors on the sides. I also hope to get some type of tow points on the front end of my truck since the 4th Gen explorers don't have the mounting holes like the 3rd Gens do.
