Visor install help

I bought one of those Lund lighted visors to attach to the roof of my X. I have never installed anything like this. Any info, help, or facts about insalling one would be great.

Well they are pretty simple and straight forward to install. Just follow the directions. Remember to silicone the holes before screwing it down and especially silicone the hole you put the wires through. Otherwise you may have a flood in your truck.
It should be about a 45 minute project. errr maybe a little more with the wiring. Maybe an hour with the wiring.

Yeah right. I tried friday night. This is hard! I MESSED WITH IT FOR 2 HOURS! And it's still not on. I scratched the whole inside of the door pillar all up. I'll think I'll get a shop to do it. It's not worth it!

Hmm, sorry to hear that. Maybe bringing it in might be a good idea then. See if they might let you watch as they do it, then if you ever decide to do it in the future on another truck you will have a memory to go by. And it's always more fun to watch someone else work.
