with the head lights on and some 55watt driving lights on i can watch the gage drop. the with the windshield wipers on it drops more. this is withe the stereo on low if i turn it up the gage drops a lot (2 1000 watt subs with capictor) this is not all of the time though. i had the alt. and batt. checked mutiple tims by different shops and the say it is ok (it is the origional one 95amp with 152,x.. miles) the guys at napa gave me some electrical cleaner to clean the alt. with but after the whole can it didn't help. could this possibly be a wire wire somewhere? it will usually hold the voltage up it i keep the rpms up. are the 130 amp and 95 amp alts inthechangable?

First check the battery terminals to see if they are clean. You could upgrade to the higher alternator without a problem. If you have a lot of high powered accessories, then you might want to put in a 200 amp, or higher alternator with a dual battery, and isolator.
