Vortech Superchargers

Does anyone know anybody who has installed the Vortech kit for the 4.0. It is considerably cheaper, enough that a guy could still afford to buy a new TB and MAF plus the SC for less than the BBK setup.

I am putting one on a ranger with a 4.0 very soon. he had enough money to do exactly what you said a maf and TB. it runs really good with just that stuff. I will post dyno numbers of it before and after.

Yeah I wanna see some numbers too... Im pretty set on the BBK but I wanna see what vortech has to offer...all I have heard is rumors.

GUYS, I JUST BOUGHT A REBUILT PAXTON UNIT COMPLETE WITH FUEL REGULATOR AND HARDWARE.
I NEED THE ADDITIONAL POWER FOR TOWING AND HOPE THIS WILL DO THE TRICK. BEEN FOLLOWING ALEC'S THREAD ON HIS BBK INSTALL AS WAS GOING TO GO THAT ROUTE BUT THE PRICE OF 700.00 ON THE PAXTON WAS TO LOW TO PASS UP EVEN THOUGH THE LOW TORQUE OF THE BBK IS A BIG PLUS . I'M GOING TO INSTALL THIS WEEKEND AND SEE WHAT HAPPENDS.

Just heard a rumor today that Paxton has been acquired by Vortech. Also included in this rumor is that a major player in the performance industry will be acquiring Vortech. Possibly Holley. Will have to wait and see if these rumors are true.
