Not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes.
Got a '98 explorer 5.0, I want to install that drivetrain complete into a vehicle with univ ersal wire harness. I have figured out most of my connections, but not sure about the vss. It appears thst the ECU gets its vss signal from the abs module, which inturn gets. Its signal from the rear wheel speedb sensor. I do not plan to keep the abs module, or to have abs installed. So, is there a workaround for getting the proper vss signal to the ecu without the abs module?
Thanks,
-Josh
