Want to add second Transmission Cooler

I was thinking of going to the auto wreckers and getting a transmission oil cooler from an Explorer and adding it in series with my existing cooler. I would mount it a bit lower to get better air flow. Should be a very easy install.

Has anyone done this before, and what do you think of this idea?

In a warmer climate it may be a good idea, but up where you are, it may not let the tranny get up to full operating temperature in the colder weather.

i run one from advance and have a fan mounted on it for 4x4,i also run an oil cooler but no ac

just noticed you had a 2000 may look a little different but should be the same principal
