I got my lights (front and rear) tinted about 3 months ago and this past month I've noticed they've warped at the top... I have no idea how this happened and I was wondering if anyone can give me a clue as to what happened :(
Here's how the lights looked about a month ago...

...and here's what they look like now...

New rear lights are reasonably cheap, I just don't want this to happen again.
Thanks

Huh, that is pretty odd actually...

I could be dead wrong, as I don't and have nor have I ever had tinted tails or anything for that matter, but maybe the tint keep in excess heat causing the plastic to get too warm and warp??

I have no evidence to back that up, but it would be the first thing I would think of.

^ my only thought would be that too, maybe the tint helps it get hotter and holds the heat longer...next time its a hot sunny day you should put your hands on the lights to see if they do get hotter than normal.

Wow that looks crazy. :(

Wow, that is crazy! Did you spray tint the tailights? I've used the spray tint on all my cars that I have had and I have never seen that happen.

Yeah, it's spray tinted with a clear coat on top... I'm thinking of getting another set of lights cuz they're pretty cheap and put a lighter tint on them.

The lights are hotter than normal, there's a definite difference from the top of the light to the bottom of the light.

Thanks everyone!
