First off I have done some searching but still a bit confused. The washer pump is not working on my 98 xlt...It does not work for either the front or the rear wipers. When I hit either switch the wipers work but i get no washe fluid. At the pump you can not hear the pump working. I took a new pump from work and pluged it in, pressed the button and still could not hear the pump running. I tried swapping the relays around in the box on the passenger side frame rail with no luck. I guess it could still be a fuse but I do not have a layout of the fuse box so I do not know which fuses control what. Any ideas of where to look? I thought the stalk could be the problem but cant figure out why the button for the rear wouldnt work if the problem was in the stalk its self.
