wax on..wax off......(lot of pics)

well after getting 2 trucks detailed over the weekend i have alittle money. so with the tip i got some new NTX wax,NTX tire shine, and armorall carwash.

so i deecided to clean my truck up really good. theres a carshow coming up(last weekend of april) that i plan to bring my truck to so i decided to start now . i washed the truck with dawn dish soap to remove all the old wax. then i clay bared the whole truck and windows. then waxed it with NTX wax..2 coats. then i shined up the tires and running boards with NTX spray shine stuff. i think the paint looks better then when it came out of the factory. anyway wanted to get some pics up fo my hard work.

i also got under the hood. but i need to add some shiny stuff there to top it off.

lol yeah i had to just let it idle around in the driveway to get the pics. it then went right back into the garage . and it wont come out again untill about the 28th. except to get a windshild and an alingment

only one of the best things you can do to your paint. its a bar of clay that you run over your paint. it picks up all the stuff deep in your paint. that you cant get out otherwise. makes it smooth as a baybes butt. you can get a starter kit at autozone,pep boys,shucks,krager..ect for about $20. well well worth it. you will be amazed what it does to your paint. brings back a deep shine and makes it soo soo smooth.

i idled up the driveway and out on the street(to make sure i dident get any mud on it) and got some nice pics out on the road. they came out nice!

yes its a green. its evergreen forst metalic. a limited only color(untill 98')..pretty rare.

no not alot of rubbing. you just use light pressure and go in a back and forth motion.

yeah just make sure you get it all real good. to make sure you get everything off.

When using a clay bar make sure you use some kind of lubricant (QD, car wash/water mix, or a clay lubricant) then either wash again or at least rinse or just go to your polish.
