Webasto parking heater

Im going to install a Webasto parking heater but i need to know what way the water is circulating thru the heater core.The hoses going in to the heater core is marked upper engine and lower engine, is the upper engine hose the intake or??

Normaly the upper hose goes in because heat moves up throu the physik and colder water sinks down.

The lowest hose will alwys be the intake. In the case that someone forgets to top off the radiator, your engine wont suffer. Sucks low, discharge high.

What is that parking heater?

Does it keep your engine warm or something when its off so you get like instant heat? That'd be nice haha
