Ok, I thought this was kinda strange and just want to get some help as to where to look. I live in colorado but am in TX for work right now. On my way to another rig I had to drive through a small town called Sprayberry well I stopped for fuel. The town obviously got alot of rain the night before and there were puddles and remnants of minor flooding. I drove through a long 2" deep puddle from an overflowed gutter. I was yeilding to traffic and that was where the puddle was. I drove through it real slow, slow enought that the bumper did not even get wet. I fueled up and got back in the truck and headed to my rig. As soon as I was pulling out of the gas station I noticed that my seat belt dummy light was not on and I had not buckled up yet. Then I went to switch lanes and my turn signals were not working. I was already late so I did not have time ot pull over to check fuses etc. About 10 minutes later the blinkers started working like nothing ever happened. Has anybody else had this happen or any advice as to where I should check? I am not kidding when I said I went real slow through the water so I dont see how I could have even gotten anything electrical wet. I would like to figure this out so I dont have to worry about losing my blinkers every time it rains or I go through a puddle. Wow that was long and drawn out. Sorry

The Fasten Seat Belt light doesn't have it's own fuse, it's controlled by the GEM. Most likely the bulb is burned out.

The turn signals are not controlled by the GEM so it's likely that the two issues are not connected.

Well if that's true then that is really odd both were working fine until I stopped and gas'd up then neither worked for like 10 minutes.

Weird...

The Fasten Seat Belt light works now?

Hmm...

yes it came back on along with the blinkers. Sounds retarded since you say they are not connected in any way. I tried pushing the release button cause in my old pathfinder it would do this and I just press the realease and it would pop on. Not so much on the X.
