Just a general question. If I was to buy some perches and weld them on top of my axle for a spring over so that I could use regular U-Bolts mounted upside down and a plate on top would I need to gut the housing. (That was a long sentance, hopefully none of you are English majors!!) Can I weld on the diff tubes without killing everything inside like seals, bearings, fluid?
