Westin Brush Guard and 3in. body lift

I have a 99 explorer sport, which I recently put a 3in. body lift on. I bought a Westin brush guard today. I need some help explaining how I can get the brush guard to fit. If anyone has this setup or has any ideas it would help out alot.

You'll have to modify the brush guard to make it fit since your truck is now 3" higher off the frame. You might need to take it to a welder and have them cut the bracket off the guard and raise it 3"

ok for mine what i had to do when i did the body lift was cut the bottom baracket off and re weld it 3" lower on the brush guard. let me knowif that helps any. I'll try to get some pics for you.
