Come next week my son is on spring break, and if the weather is good he's going to help me spring detail all the cars. Looking forward to it.

Ahhh..Spring. Must be nice. We still have a foot and a half of snow..

The weather guy said we may get up to 45 F. this weekend. I can start cleaning now. Probably another month before the Zaino comes out.
Oh well, something to look forward to....

Well guys, I promised pictures today but I was sooo busy and stuff. Actually...I wired my autolamp. That took me a few hours there and my friend came over so we worked on his car and so on and so forth so I didn't get a chance to take some pics. I'll do that tomorrow.

Robb, I can't stand a dirty car. I guess coming from a father who takes maticulous care to his cars, dirty isn't in my book of vocabulary terms. LOL.

Alright guys...I finally uploaded some pics. These pics are before and after claying. I haven't taken the pics in the daytime so bare with me on that. I promise I'll take some tomorrow. So here ya go...

Nice Work!!

Thanks for the compliments guys. Tomorrow, I'll be finishing it off with a layer of S100. After that, I'll be done for a long while. I detailed the interior today. Took me about 2 hours. Now my truck looks as if it came off the dealership floor today. :D

Sweet !!
Clean enough to eat off of. Not that you would though.
Am I correct to assume you are one of the Zaino users?
That stuff is seriously reflective.
I like the fact you payed attention to the little details like the wheel house.
Good work man.

Well...I finished my whole exterior detailing process. I finished off with a coat of S100 earlier tonight. The whole process took me a total of 13 hours, 8 hours on the first day (wash/clay/AIO/SG) without breaks, 2 hours on the second day (SG), and 2 hours on the third day (SG), and spent an hour today (S100). Thank goodness I don't have to worry about detailing it for another 3-4 months. Interior took me 2 hours, so 15 hours total (exterior/interior).

I still haven't gotten my engine compartment cleaned yet. I hope I'll find time to do it in the future.

Mark,
Thanks very much for the compliment. If you can drive down here and will pay for meals, I'd be gladly do it for ya...but like I said...if you're willing to drive 7 hours down here.

Monmix,
Thanks man!! I'm a Klasse user. I love that stuff. Zaino has too many steps to follow. Both are just as durable and Klasse is actually smoother and slicker in the long run. Klasse is only a 2-step process--All In One (AIO) and Sealant Gloss (SG) so it's very easy to apply. I cleaned the wheel wells. It was nice and black but it's dirty again. Oh well...

 Looks good! This weekend is supposed to be around 60 degrees and sunny so I'm gonna be busy: removing pinstriping, some of the badging, and side molding (the one with the chrome strip on the doors) and a wash and wax.
