What are these transmission parts

I was getting a P0745 ODB error -Pressure control solenoid -Transmission. I thought I'd remove the pan replace the fluid and filter. I found these two parts laying in the pan. Anyone know what they are and what I should do? It's a 4.0L 2002 explorer with the towing transmission.

To me it looks like a band strut and anchor point.

Have all the gears been working?
 






Well, that don't look good. I don't know but someone will come along shortly and recognize those parts. I'm guessing it has something to do with one of the bands?

Seems to have trouble with second big thunk really rough.
 






Rick got it. You're gonna need a rebuild minimum. Assuming the case isnt damaged from whatever caused this.
