Do you have a recipe or just want to share with us what your cooking today?
Have a product you love and want to share with us? Any cooking tips?

Today is Memorial Day, and the BBQ grill is going to slow cook nice slabs of Pork Spareribs for us today.

Low & Slow is the only way to go. 225* for a few hours will make the ribs tender and tasty!

I use a product called "Adams Rib Rub". It is actually made by a friend of mines Brother and is sold nationwide. I use the spicy version (not really hot, just zesty).

Prep the ribs by cleaning under running water for a minute, pat dry with a paper towel. Rub a generous amount of rub mixture all over rack, and let sit for a good 10 mins in the fridge.

Once your grill is up to temp, simply set the ribs in & wait it out :)

Now to prevent burning & over charring for slow cooking, run outside burners for propane grills, OR make 2 separate piles of charcoal/wood on the outside edges of the grill. Vent your charcoal grill to achieve proper 225* temps. Place meat in the middle and close lid to trap heat.

Enjoy your meals everybody! :D

Find a maple tree, break off a few twigs and throw them into the fire Gregg.

While it is smoking it will smell like sort of like pancakes, and maple adds a very nice, very mellow smoke flavor.

Just a suggestion.

AGREED! I use hickory wood chips all the time when I grill. Tried mesquite, but it's too strong to me. Hickory or maple adds a nice flavor.

Went for something different this year, as we had burgers and dogs yesterday.

BBQ chicken pizza on the grill...

Pizza Stone on the grill

Toss on a plain thin crust

Slather on Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce

Cover with pulled BBQ chicken

Brush on some more sauce

Cover with some Mozzarella cheese

Grill for 5-7 minutes

Enjoy!

Little late to the party, but I went to open mat with a few of my team mates got a nice hard workout in, then Sirloin steak, corn on the cob, and a sundae that I always used to make with my great gramma, vanilla ice cream, peanut M&m's, reeses cups, chocolate fudge. Me making 155 is a myth haha.

YOU MAKE ME SICK! :thumbdwn: At 38 years old I swear I just LOOK at ice cream and gain weight! My metabolism used to be high, now it's extremely low. And being an auto mechanic, it sure isn't from sitting on my ass all day. I want my high school body back! I used to weigh in at right at 6'2" 195 lbs, all muscle when I was on the football team and up until I got married. Now it's 250, a mostly fat mixture! My six pack is now a keg.
