what can I add to EX base 2012 ( from Saudi Arabia )

New member From Saudi Arabia , would like to join u guys
( first of all please forgive me if there is any mistake " my Lang " )

I just got my new Ex 2012 ( base )
It has :

roof side rails , Silver with black end caps
grille satin silver ( front of the EX )
chrome exterior door handels
18" painted aluminum wheels

That is a deferent of what Ford website said about the standered EX or Base

Base It cost $ 33840
XLT $ 39733

I emailed ford company many times asking about this deferent and the only answer that I got ( contact your local dealer ) !!
I do have all of these emails that I'm talking about ..


Honestly I don't know what kind of EX I have
Standered XLT or Standered EX ?!!

My Q here :
what can I add to my EX ?!
fog lamps
SYNC
.
.
.
.
.
etc

And What can I do with Ford Company about my emails ?!
even we have a local dealler they have to answer and explain to us this defferent !!

is EX is the base one outside not chrome no fog light
from inside XlT have 8"lcd screen
and more go for xlt

Hi Sultanis. I checked out the info on the base configuration. It sounds like you have an XLT. The base has hub caps with no options for aluminum wheels, no options for interior upgrades besides sync and satellite radio, and only the ability to add the tow package, mud flaps, and Roof rack crossbars to the exterior. Like entra was saying, there are no fog lights on the standard configuration either. Hope that helps!

Your window sticker should tell you a lot.
If you don't have it, try using the display window sticker utility talked about in other threads on this forum. You will need your VIN (vehicle identification number). You should find the VIN on a white sticker inside your drivers door panel.

I would like to thank all of you .

I do have a VIN but I couldn't find any link in Ford official website that can give me more detail about my car ..

because if my EX standered XLT so that means in my opinion I can add fog lights .. Satellite radio and some extra ( because harnesses already there )

What do you think ?!
