Just wondering what you guys did for your girls (or guys) this year. I got pretty lame this year because I was too busy to put any thinking time into it, so maybe you guys can give me some ideas to put in the back of my head for next year.

What I did:
-card
-box of chocolates
-Hollywood Video card (wife is a movie FANATIC!!!!)
-cooking dinner (****tail shrimp, ny strips, scalloped corn, hawaiin bread)

So, what did you guys do?

-gave her little things through out the weekend. (chocolates, slippers, etc.)
-had flowers delivered to work. (We work together)
-going to Benihana for dinner tonight
-ripping her clothes off when we get home after that.

well my g/f is studying over in germany this semester, so i will not even see her, but i sent a card

so today for myself i
-bought a nice steak
-cooking that with a baked potato and some green beans and some beer....happy v-day to me :D

My dad's no longer with us so I bought my mom a Vermont Teddy Bear and some chocolates. Supposed to be coming any minute, it should really make her day.

Found out I had pneumonia and a sinus infection, and my wife is now running a fever of about 100° :( . No good Valentines day here :thumbdwn:

I also went to the gym and went NUTS. I wanted to get all the frustration of being single out first, then sooth it with a couple of Coke N Rums with Captain Morgan. Like GaSouthern, Rosie will be over later also

I'm not single but spending it alone. Shes outta town working so I get to hang out with my wang out all night.

I bought her a 2001 Eddie Bauer 4x4 Epedition :D (This covered her B-Day and probably Christmas too :p )

FACT:
Around 85% of all Valentine's Day cards are purchased by women.

"I got a Valentine's Day card from my girl. It said, 'Take my heart! Take my arms! Take my lips!' Which is just like her. Keeping the best part for herself."

I really hate this day especailly since yesterday was the wifes birthday.
so yesterday we went to foxwoods casino spent too much!!!
and i got away with today with just buying roses which were cheap less than $20.00 and got her a card from our 3 yr old...

YeAH she is satisfied and I am safe for another year,
LOL

i did nothing... but i am single... soooo... i basically went to breakfast with my boss today... then hung out around his house for awhile and came back home and went to sleep..... i might go to a church thing later tonight...

I wired up some lights/outlets in my workshop

Got my gf a card and a cd player(for the gym), then went out to Red Lobster and had Coconut shrimp..mmmmm.mmm oh yea and later that night we watch "The Notebook" hahha...actually wasnt that bad...and thenn....

had some food, watched some TV, went to my classes that evening, and came home to my ready and waiting hand...who says valentines day is lonely

Well she has not got her Valentine's Day present yet. I told her that it would be rapped up into our 1 yr anniversary. I told her that I was planning something big for our anniversary and that we could only afford it if we pinch some pennies until then (April 17th). I am going to surprise her with a trip to Breckenridge, CO. She has never flew before and has always wanted to see the rocky mountains. So our anniversary and valentine's day will be rapped into one present.
