Didn't actually do all this in one day, but completed my wheel and brake upgrade...I took a lot of build pix and will hopefully have some write ups done soon...

Looking closely, I can see that the top picture actually provides more long range visibility than the lower one. That's one downfall of putting LED bulbs in a housing not designed for them. Also, several members have posted that the LEDs while brighter, don't have the distance of a halogen or HID bulb

We'll see, and I'll report back. Earlier this year I was driving in the Death Valley were it was pitch black, with the factory high beams I had such a hard time seeing I had to turn down my dash lights and it was still tough.

Returned from road trip, treated to a 93 octane liquid lunch, drained my Catch Can. Next step is getting a visit to the rain locker, probably tomorrow after dropping off my Dog to his rain locker visit.

Yesterday I installed Sylvania Silverstar ZXE 9005 headlight bulbs. Easy install, light is whiter than before. Was considering LED's, etc. but most of what I read suggests that the housing is designed for Halogen bulbs and not LED's, etc. plus I had a bulb out and the ZXE was available at the local parts store.

I changed the oil & air filter. Cleaned the interior (wife's car)

Hard wired my new dash cam I got on Cyber Monday from Amazon.

I spent way too much time working on it to finally realize I was supplying 12V instead of 5V to it, wondering why it wouldn't turn on.

Where did you draw power from and do you have any wiring photos?

Sorry I didn't take photos. I did such a hack job wiring it up, I didn't want a record of it. Without thinking I cut the cigarette lighter end off and tried to wire the cord in directly, forgetting that cord reduced the current to 5V. It wasn't my proudest moment.

I read in a thread here there was a switched aux wire for the auto dimming mirror behind the maps lights. I don't have an auto dimming mirror, but I was able to find an unused switched 12V wire in a connector behind the a-pillar cover. I ran the negative to an existing ground nut behind the door jam trim just below the dash. I tucked the 12V power connector I bought at Auto Zone for $5 & plug behind the headlight switch after opening the panel. I wrapped the entire connection in electrical tape so it doesn't come apart or short on the metal behind the dash.

This wasn't today but was recent so I will share. My 4 year old put on a black stainless bumper cover

Coming from being a previous tuner phase person... This looks pretty awesome! I loved doing Wilwood swaps. And absolutely love the VOLKS! Looks KILLER!!!! Do you have more pics of the whole vehicle in different angles?
