What did you do to your Ex/Mounty/RBV today?

Swapped over the top pulley to find out that the PAS pump was on it's way out... booked an airbag scanning for tomorrow...

Put the truck back together, detailed the battery and changed the positive terminal connector on the harness.

Yesterday I drove mine for the first time.... might not seem like a big deal to some guys, but, when you consider all the effort etc I put into it, then it's a big deal... and it made me smile...

I bet it did!! It was a big deal I do understand.

That's cool Si- you've been hassling with that thing forever...

Working on replacing a lower intake gasket.

Mine was taking a bath in the rain with no doors lol

I dusted my engine...

No really- I dusted my engine.

instead of just ignoring my truck for another day i decided to fix my wiring from the switch panel i made to the roof lights. hopefully i can get it finished up tomorrow.

here's some pics of the switch panel i made. and yes the switches are at an angle instead of up and down. i also put some LEDs in the cup holders while i was making the panel and mounting my full length console. i used epoxy on the backside of the switches to make sure they were never going to move.

and since i took all the internals out of my full lenght console i removed the panel on the rear of it and put a blank in place. i'm probably going to paint a ford logo on it. i also put a LED over the rear cup holders

Cleaned the engine bay. That was the last thing to complete my full detail job.

Wrigley, I like the switches. That is where mine are going to be put...whenever I actually get around to it.

it was pretty easy to do. all it took was some switches i bought in bulk off ebay, a thin sheet of metal i cut and bent up and some epoxy to hold everything together.

Paraphoe - my console sat outside for a while and then it sat in my garage even longer. plus it came out of an ex with no windows or doors that had been sitting in the scrap yard:dunno:

Just busting your balls, brother. I was bored at work. :)

Really like the switch panel. I guess it's too late, but it would look awesome powder-coated in crinkle-black. Nice work regardless.

it's cool buddy. i had actually thought about getting some crinkle or hammered spray paint but i just decided to use the black engine paint i had in my chemical locker:D

Wrigley, I had used those type switches once. They got so hot after being on for a little while, they would not shut off. I ended up replacing them all with a paddle style. Hopefully you attached them in a way that the switch itself can be replaced if this happens to you.

Things done to the 94 this past week....
Installed a set of Eddie Bauer Leather seats
Installed a sever duty fan clutch
Ran new wires on the rock lights

The "to do" list is growing......ack!

I got the oil changed, washed and waxed the truck, and detailed the interior a bit.

if i ever have to replace a switch i'm gonna have to drill it out or chisel it out lol. i was trying to plan ahead by buying a bunch of matching switches but then i epoxyed them in:crazy:
