What did you/your explorer get for Christmas?

i got nothin for the X, but i got some 33x12.5 TSL's for my project Jeep, some clothes, and a REALLY nice Columbia jacket. but i think my friend got me some reverse indiglo guages and i think i may get a single guage pod with a digital volt meter (for my system) with the cash i got from my grandparents.

my truck got nothing but, i got some $, so maybe soon i can afford some insurance for me, and she will get the greatest present of all... to be a daily driver again for me!

I got a welder... So now i can weld up the new tranny crossmember, and maybe some time this break i'll "TRY" to start it... No emphasis on it actually working!

I got a Remote strarter for the X. I installed it, but what a pain in the ass. I would recomend getting it done by someone else. I have to go home after work today and put the lower dash back together. It was nice this morning though, when I walked out to the car through the snow and it was already warmed up! It was plenty cold out at 6:45!

Of course! They aren't like, $300 cars or anything, but they are cool. Breanna even said the front of one looks like yours. We're just mostly hanging out today if you aren't working. Ryan is watching some Carrot Top movie downstairs. LOL

And for the record, Ryan first got a 9.99 Craftsman toolbox and he was grateful, and then we said something like "it's daddy is in the garage" and he was clueless the whole time. Ha ha! I had it hidden at someone else's house until yesterday.

I got a pair of Sylvania Cool Blue bulbs and went out with my Best Buy gift card and got a 208 CD Case today, which came with a 24 Cd case inside of it. It doesn't take much to make me happy.

I got a stomach bug.

Actually, that was Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day, I got clothes, some MSU attire, and some house decorations for the house I haven't bought yet. Since I was sick on the 24th, and my sister was sick on the 24th and 25th, I haven't been able to go to Memphis to see dad's side of the family yet, so some presents are yet to be determined. But, since dad's stomach is acting iffy now, I may have to wait until Saturday until I go to Memphis.

As for the Mounty, I realized that when I got back from Michigan that the exhaust leak is worse than I thought, so it's time to order the ceramic coated GT-40P headers for it. I did go ahead and buy it a case of synthetic motor oil, two oil filters, and a new set of windshield wiper blades. I may also be buying more tranny fluid and some filters for the tranny soon as well.

I got my DVD system finished and I got Disk Simulators for the X.... For me I got a couple of games for Game-Cube and 2 new shirts....

She's not as spoiled as some other X's but she knows I luv her.

I got a Nikon Coolpix 4300 (SWEET!) about a month ago. I also got all new brakes for the front and rear, which I needed desperatley, and in about a month I am going to rebuild the engine (lifters, rockers, pushrods, ported and surfaced heads, and maybe a cam). I also got enough money to go get an exhaust next week. Still cant decide between a 40 delta or 50. All in all, I did pretty good this year.

My X got a nice new doiamond plate toolbox to hold all my stuff. The cheap gym bag I was using broke, so I figured why not. I also got a new Sony Clie NX series PDA with an 802.11b adapter. Hasn't come yet, but I can't wait. I also got a crib and a changing table. OK, not really for me, but I got to put them together. We got lots of food, as that seemed to be the popular gift. Well, we also sent people food, so I guess it works out.

My X may still get some more stuff. New roof rack with spare tire mount, so I can take it out of the back. Maybe a new front bumper. Maybe some HID headlights. Maybe.... man, I'm just going to end up getting stuff till next Christmas.


Anyhow, hope everyone had a nice holidays, and be safe on New Years.

A lot of people go down to Centennial Park to watch the peach drop at midnight. (Yeah, Times Square has a giant ball, Centennial Park has a giant peach ). Anyway, I've never been, but it's supposedly pretty cool.

Just keep your eyes out, there's tons of stuff to do all over the city

My X is getting a remote starter (ordered and going to install myself). It also got new TYC alteeza tail lights sort of unexpectedly. Someone busted one of my tailights and the pair of aftermarket tail lights didn't cost too mush more than the factory ones... so i figured what the hell. My birthday is in January so the X will soon get more. Probably a JBM billet grill and bumper grill either that or an apten chip, havn't decided yet.

Well for Hanukkah.......

I just got some random stuff and some DVDs.

Splat got:
4.30 gears
TA aluminum diff cover
4.5" lift springs in the rear, took the warrior shackles out and gave them to Kris, and gave my aal's to Doug.
Finished painting the fiberglass fenders, have to wax them and my hood.
New HU
Other random stuff so now he runs very well.

still to get in the next month:
Hood scoop installed
repainted hood
XM radio
fix aux reverse lights

All in all my truck did well this year!

my Explorer is currently in the shop for a full rust treatment job. thats my big christmas present. Finally that hole next to the gas tank will be fixed yay!
