What else is this truck famous for?

here i thought mine was the only one with the door lock issue. ive just learned to deal with it. i figured the driver door handle was use. something under my truck rattles, don't know what yet. guess ill find it when it breaks. granted i don't have a first gen. but this all sounds very familiar. well most of it.

I think the catalytic converter shroud was a rattler.
 












Yup, 2 choices to make it go away. Bailing wire or a new cat.
Or just chop the thing out :p:

I'm gonna do that soon because NC doesn't require OBD1 vehicles to pass emissions. :D

Old thread, but this morning I took on my 1/4 mile driveway with 12 inches of snow and drifts of 18 inches. My stock exp swam right through it. I had to tell someone... LOL

Mine had bailing wire around it and still rattled. Solution, gut the stupid thing, the contents were pretty stopped up, but for 220k (at the time) what else would you expect?

door panel

All the above I have issues with. The console bracket has exceeded its life expectancy (my interior is from a 91) so if you think about it that's not bad age wise, only one door panel has separated itself out of 4.

Cracked heads is being addressed as soon as the weather clears.... it'd be nice to have a garage to park in.... ugh.
