What are some of the positive things that have happened in your life this year?

For me:

Got my general contractors license for the state of CA.
Bought my first house.
Started my own construction company.
Got engaged and plan to get married on March 29 2008.

It has been a busy year.

The single most important thing I did this year was be a Father for my daughter.:thumbsup:

This yea, aside from finally lifting my truck and a few other things, has been a terrible year. :(

The only bright spot in my year was acquiring and getting my '91 X on the road.

other wise this year just plain blew.:(

Got married
Began my career
Increased my income by about 700%

driver's permit...

This yea, aside from finally lifting my truck and a few other things, has been a terrible year. :(

(I could repeat the above, in some aspects it has been that way here too...

My son, the young man finally got his driver's permit, the greatest thing to happen IMO since he was born.
I finally learned how to adjust my Ex's headlights;
I have surpassed my son in understanding (some) areas of technology;
Kinda learned to use this iMac;
Getting outside more;
Finally understand that a "can do" attitude is good;

added another 3" to the Explorer.
Added 35" Rubber to it.....
added 4:88's and lockers F/R.....
added a custom snorkel......
new engine to my Ranger......
Took my 3 year old son on his first trail run and now hes hooked(best thing I did!!!!!!)

Any day I spend above ground is a positive one!:thumbsup:

Everything else is a bonus!

started senior year of high school
fell madly in love for about three weeks
had a horrible break up after that
began a series of other bad habits (guess....)
even with that, it was still a hell of a year, and i don't regret it

I like LT Jim's Idea!
I got left behind for a few hours in Mosul this year, so getting picked up was definitely a high point,
Bought my Buddy's blazer i had lusted over for years,
got out of the navy,
moved back in with my kids,
Got my Deputy inspector license.

Yeah Lt.Jim has it right for sure.

Well i ended what little college like i have had. (2 Yrs)
Bought my first business!
Decided to fly to TruckHaven
Met a ton of people

Knocked up my wife:D:thumbsup:
Bought a tow rig
Paid off the Explorer and it officially became "a toy":cool:
Started a new job, where I'm finally happy with what I make.
got a garage...finally!

Besides having the little on in April, about all I ended up doing this year was racking up a TON of credit card debt. 'O well, she's worth it. :D
