Tested out my new lack of anti-sway bars. It'll take a while to get used to, but so far, I like it!

put the new (well, used, but new to the truck) motor back into evils little brother.

Saw an older guy in a 3rd gen Explorer with a car battery laying next to his truck. Drove over to offer help. He didn't need it (he had another battery to replace it), but when I told him that I saw another Explorer in distress, he suddenly got real nice and said, "us Explorer drivers gotta stick together!"

Not really something I did to MY truck, but something memorable.

Four-wheeling again

Put the new seats in my ranger. Tommorow change the oil, try to get my rock lights working and get my tube bender up and working if I have enough time. Depends on how hot it gets.

Painted my grille shell (the middle part, rest is still chrome) to match the Speed Grille that was turdlecoated while in Kansas.

Almost pulled off my back bumper and destroyed a quarterpanel. Fortunately, I could kick the snot out of the rear quarterpanel and sort of get it back into place.

Did I mention that I four-wheel my Explorer kind of rough?

yesterday went about 50 - 60 miles down some old lake roads, lts of wet, and muddy, multitudes of ROCKS< <

I replaced the rear shocks, cleaned IAC, DPFE, and MAF, and I replaced the fuel filter. still a couple things to do here and there, but its drivin good!

I feel accomplished :D

drove to the beach in it, when swimming, and drove home. But on the drive home, the headlights kept randomly going out (which is bad at 10:00 at night). I think it's something in the switch, since I could pull the bright lever and they'd turn on and If I messed with the switch, they'd turn on, too. Very scary!

I took mine wheeling today with a group of Jeeps. Went up to a 10,100ft peak where there was a fire tower to check out the views and also checked out an old cemetery in the middle of the woods.

The watchman invited us up for even better views

Great view!

I walked past my Explorer a couple of times, but didn't work on anything. Instead, I did some yard work and put a sub and amp in my wife's new G8 GT.

Tomorrow, my G6 finally gets a sub and amp, then I need to finish some yard work and gardening. Might adjust the bands in the Explorer's trans if I still have some time. Need to figure out what the clicking noise is that's coming from the rear diff too. Clicks when coasting or braking, but goes away under load.
