i drove it to kroger where it sat for 5 1/2 hours then i drove it back home... pretty uneventful day... but yesterday i drove it through a couple of flooded roads which was cool...

it has been sitting for 3 or more months as i have been driving my audi but I decided to start driving it again and its is growing on me.

Gawd too much it seems... changed the oils in the front, rear differentials, transfer case, changed the fuel filter, air filter, pcv valve did a rad flush and an engine oil change... this was stuff i could do easily myself.

ditto that.

I cheated on not buying the 3/4 tool:p:

I noted that mine was overfilled from new to the tune of probably 4-8 oz.

Only got about 1.5L back in it, got about 1.6L out.

Now to do the front (truck just went over 100K)

Mine seem to have a lot in it too, so I made sure I got about the same amount back in.

I hand the truck on ramps in the rear with the front jacked up level. When I noticed it seemed heavy on fluid, I dropped the front to the ground and then checked it, it was still coming out of the fill hole. Then I lifted the front, drained, dropped the front then filled from there to about the same amount.

i'm just going to go with the factory level mark at least until i get a contra-indication.

With my trained ear I can still hear the rear end on accel once the oil get warm. I guess it'll be there for life.

Saturday I flipped my tires to letters out.
Sunday I to to Sam's to get them balanced.
Today I put rear pads on.

Let's see....Armor All'd the interior, cursed my recently cleaned but now already dirty windows, cleaned said windows with Invisible Glass, FINALLY changed out the warped front rotor for a brand spankin' new one, and then proceeded to drive it to Maple Grove Raceway ("local" drag strip), where I sat and watched and came up with the crazy idea to take it on there the next open night they have.

If I had seen this thread last weekend: Somehow got on a productive spree and proceeded to clean out all trash, washed outside, vacuumed inside, Invisible Glass'd windows (see above for result of that...), took out battery and tray and gave them a nice scrubbing to get rid of all of the buildup that I had been ignoring, changed out spark plugs, went for test drive hoping nothing catastrophic would happen, returned home relieved that aforementioned catastrophe didn't occur, got the bug and returned to these forums after a looooong hiatus.

Really, I don't know what got into me. If only the ex could see how lazy I'm not being now, lol.:D

I cleaned the Filter Element on my K&N Intake today...

then gave her a bath...

cleaned out the crap inside, and vaccumed...

installed my new Undercover Fire Dept. Light Bar...

changed the oil , tire rotation + tire pressures , bottle of injector cleaner...

*****

today was a pamper day for the X lol ! , cause tommorrow i will be going out to get supplies to paint my bumpers and trim...

Speaking of which, who do you run with in Delco?

Ideas for tomorrow: coolant flush, clean/condition leather seating, shampoo carpets/headliner, finish cleaning wheels, actually clean every little slot in "chrome" grille, or just peruse the forum, lol. This week the payment is due so that I can actually keep my baby around, so I don't really have the $$ to do anything fancy. I'm thinking even just the coolant flush might actually have to wait till the next paycheck on Thursday, lol....

busy day today: Changed L/R hub assembly and bearing. changed R/R compensator link. R/R spring broke, so changed all four w/ Ground force springs (2 in. Lowered, looks nice). and of course why not do an oil change while I'm at it.
