My wife has an 06 Eddie Bauer and I was looking in between the console and seats for something I dropped and noticed something near the belt buckle. It is a shaft, kinda like a handle and it moves slightly. What is this and what's it used for? I was afraid to to pull it too hard. I can't read the small label on it to see if it says anything. thanks in advance!!

Its the ejection lever.

A pic might help?

I was thinking the ejection seat thing too! lol

Is it black? I think thats some kind of piston to keep the seat from sliding to fast.

Here it is. There is one on each front seat. 1 seat is power 1 seat is manual.

I thought it was something to do with that, but I thought all pretensioners were on the belt side, never knew they could work on the buckle side. Thanks for the article.
