For the first time got both the 91 XLT and the 92 EB up here in the snow at Mammoth, CA. The 91 clearly goes throught the snow better with much less slide and it almost certainly has to be the tires. The 92 has P235 75-R15 Goodyears with a mild tread of some kind. They were on the car when we bought it.
The 91 has P225 70 R15 Coopers with what appears to be a pretty aggressive tread.
I would like to know what others have found to be the best snow tire in make, size and tread with the understanding that 95 percent of the time the car is on dry pavement.
