So last night driving home I was hearing a scrap noise in my wheel. So i found out that something snapped. The baring is shot and this part snap if half can someone tell what snap and whats the baring called so i can fix it.

thats your lower ball joint,, and u made it home without a wrecker??? your very lucky not to tear more of your suspension out or wreck, u should check or have checked all othere parts on front suspension,, they dont usually wear that much without other parts wearing equiv amounts,, buck
 






yeah also something snap that connects to the baring what is that part called and how much would it cost for me to buy the parts for it. sorry im kinda noob still and been trying all morning to get help i really cant so much if they cant see the car thats what Ford said to me. and pick a part is close. Yah i did make it home last night.
 






Your spindle is snapped in half!!!!! Your ball joint wore through and the weight of the vehicle dropped on the spindle snapping it. Get you a new ball joint and a spindle from a parts yard and your good to go.

I haven't seen that before, your lucky you got home. be prepared to replace both sides upper and lower to prevent this from happening again.
