Don't lie to the man, it's Fords tracking device.... it was installed when the car was made so when "cars for clunkers" came they could track down all the rouge Explorers!!

Yeah, it was planned even that far back, to deny us good used parts so we would have to once again by new $35,000+ vehicels to replace our perfectly good $500 ones......
