I noticed I got a oil leak, or so it appears, where there is a sensor going into the oil pan on the drivers side. It's about 2" from the flat bottom, closer to the front of the truck.

I looked around here and in the repair manual and I cannot find anything talking about this or showing it in a picture.

Thanks for any help. I'll post a picture tomorrow evening if no one knows what I am talking about.

driver'S side? the sensor I can think of is the pressure sensor. Is it a small cylinder that's attached to a tube like adapter the screws in the block?

sorry, if it's going in the oil pan then its probably the low oil level sensor

Drivers side, low. Sounds like the OIL LEVEL SENSOR Let's you know when you are 1.5 quarts low)

Mine's doing the same. Very annoying, Dealer item.

Hard to tell where the Sensor begins Because there are two Hex sizes on it. That's why I haven't taken mine off to try and Add epoxy at the wires. Not sure where to put the wrench

Low oil sensor sounds right.

Has anyone actually replaced it before (and taken pictures)?

When it warms up I'll probably take a stab at it and take pictures of the process.

Thanks for the help.
