What is the port with the green lid right next to my bettery? Is this the A/c service port? It has a tasg that reads eveporator service port. Is this where I check the pressure for my A/C?

The green port is for the evaporative emissions. Not the a/c.

WHere do I check A/c pressure? I bought a guage that looks like an older tire guage but it doesn't fit in the port ontop of the evaporator. Do you think I have the wrong guage? I thought they were all one size.

Check your other thread.. I think you got the old style R12 gauge set.
