What is wrong :(

Hello all.

I have a 04 explorer V6 4dr. I am getting some weird things happenign now when driving.

- Sometimes when driving and I have to slow down for a hump, I hear a lough thump which is felt in the truck, it mainly happens when I slow down.

- As well when i slow down the steering weel vibrates.

- Also sometimes when I lock all the way to the left or right and drive I also there a thum like sound.

Any suggestions of what I can go before i gets worse or will it get worse?

lock up from left to right are probably stops you are hearing, as for the vibration while braking warped rotors. as for the bumps, sway bar bushings?

locked wheels are probably the stops, if you grease them up really good with waterproof grease that will go away.
X3 on the brake rotors out of whack and need to be cut or replaced.

If I remember correctly greasing the stops is a maintenance item for these trucks (one of the few).
