what other years on i install my 99 engine

i have a 1999 Ford Truck Explorer 2WD 4.0L EFI OHV 6cyl.
The car is so rotted on frame. But My engine is in Mint Condition with only 74,000 miles and the Tranny is good to . But the rust on Frame from not being driven is very bad and def will not pass inspection.. What Other Years can i , will be able to install my engine and Tranny if need be,,.?/
