2010 Sport Trac 4.0 new timing chain replacement. I have a p061C code. I checked the harness and checked with a power problem. I have 4.3 vdc on one pin and 3.3 vdc on the second pin. Do I have a short on the harness that I have to track down? Symptoms of the truck runs and idles, does fine driving till you get around 2800 RPM then start to buck then will die. And always sets the p061C code. FYI, the wiring is cracking and I have found and repaired other melted wires and damaged insulation.. help pls

sorry, very poor explanation of your diagnosis - please remember we are not there watchig over your shoulder what you are doing.

you have measured some voltages on some random connector somewhere, the voltages are not the same = not a short.
A short would net the same voltage.
The "short" question is answered by the way.

Crankshaft sensor installed correctly or the wiring for the sensor by chance.
